Near as I can tell, this deal is pretty murky at this point. And there's very little "fresh" information in circulation.
But, assuming a report in Soccer America is accurate, Fowler's not talking crazy money: his latest demand was $3 million, a reasonable figure given what he's used to. Then again, as a commenter pointed out here, he's done well enough for the reportedly original $1 million offer should be enough to sign him.
